The beautifully simple Hicks Pendant Light by Thomas O’Brien seems to evoke an emotional response from many who see it for the first time.
It’s one of those interior elements that linger in the minds of lots of those who are building or remodeling to create their dream kitchens. A grouping of three hung above the breakfast bar seems to be the perfect configuration for the Hicks pendant. And some who don’t have a place in the kitchen, but are determined to own one or more, are even considering the laundry room—a case of love at first site.
Though probably designed for a traditional style, these great pendants look perfectly at home in contemporary living spaces. White the bottom half of the globe is made of white glass, the upper half and banding comes in lots of finishes, like bronze and hand-rubbed antique brass, antique nickel, polished nickel or bronze with wax.
What do you think? Does the Hicks Pendant Light belong in your home?
