Adding yellow combats those emotions, uplifting the spirit and building confidence. It also stimulates concentration and mental activity, relieves depression and enhances learning abilities.

Physically, yellow is used to treat headaches, skin conditions, rheumatism, paralysis and indigestion. Too much yellow could encourage hyperactivity. Balance it with shades of blue.
Yellow is a great welcoming color to use in entryways, living rooms or other social areas.
